OK, so fer thoze uv you's who care, Im in a bit uva pickle. I've been contacted by a friend who is releasing an album , entitled "L Train" with her band. I'm very happy for her and though her music is a bit different than what I listen to on a daily basis (FLOGGING MOLLY, WOOOOOOOOO) she's a VERY talented girl. And she's also VERY worthy of you visiting her site [link] (my fav track is A New Day)

Alas, the pickle... I've been asked to do a little piece for insert art and they want something for every song on a scene that takes place in a train station. Sounds easy enough and I already have a few sketches. The insert is only going to be 5-13/16 X 11-5/8 (a double fold out) and I'm having a bit of trouble coming up with ideas for a few of their songs and how to fit them all in. If you're interested in helping, let me know. I could use the help and a few fresh ideas... and the dill of the pickle? It has to be done by the 20th! woe is me... help pleez

not sure what help I could be, not knowing the music and all that (and having a bit of a personal time crunch) but feel free to email me ect.
The only thing that sorta popped into my head was doing each song/scene in one of the windows on the train. possibly others on a newspaper on a bench, or graffiti around the room.You talkin subway train? or amtrack. Not sure if this would help, but there's a great scene in the "fisher king" of grand central station. (great film if you haven't seen it already)
Are you looking for specific ideas for certain songs? or how to glue them all together? Get in touch, no promises, but I'd let it walk around my brain a bit, or critique what you got.

Some of the names of the songs. 'Ga Ga Slunk' for instance. That's a bit off the mark for my creativity level. I'll also have to get the complete track list before I can say more though.

"ga-ga" as in ga ga-goo goo, babytalk ska slunk ... if you see/meet abstract random totally off the mark or twice as abstract people will think you're smarter than them and lie to themselves and others " oh, I get it now ". Baby skunks doing the "shank" (old punk rock move), they will think the title is misspelled. Never know, just do what feels right and you'll be fine.
